Jasper was happy he'd heard there was a big thunderstorm on the way which meant only one thing, a Cullen baseball game. He was thinking of where he'd put his favourite baseball cap he was searching around the room but still couldn't find it, he was sure Alice would've put it somewhere which meant he could be here a long time looking for it.
Finally finding his cap under a load of new clothes Alice had brought him Jasper set off from the house rushing towards the trees outside the house he was wondering if anyone else was going to be there when he got there, as the trees started to thin he couldn't hear any noise, which meant just one thing, no-one else was there yet. Jasper slowed to a walking pace as he got to the egde of the clearing he strolled over to where they would play and sat down and simply waited for others to join him, he wondering who else would turn up this time.

Edward heard the thunder which spread a grin onto his face before he raced to his own home where he grabbed his baseball outfit from the wardrobe he never got rid of that thing and he never would after all for the Cullen family Baseball only happened every so often due to the weather yet when they did the vampires would play for hours. It was one of those sports that Edward couldn't get enough of although he still hadn't forgotten what had happened when he took Bella to watch him play.
The male then shook himself out of his memories before jumping from his bedroom onto the hards ground below. He then charged through the trees before he came to the opening where he saw someone already on the grass in front of him. Edward smirked as he saw that the figure was Jasper yet wondered where Alice was the two hardly went on their separate ways from each other, even at school they were together nearly all of the time.
He began to walk towards his brother as a crash of thunder struck in the sky bringing light to the dark hidden patches of trees exposing what they were hiding however nothing seemed to be lurking in them with made another smile appear on Edwards face.

Thunderstorms meant baseball for the Cullens. It was something they always did during a thunderstorm, and it was good for the family. Rose hadn't spent much time around the family lately, she was usually off doing her own thing. Emmett seemed to always be busy with Felicity and/or dealing with Lucina. She was happy when she heard of the thunderstorm. She went to her room and got out her baseball outfit and quickly changed. A game with the Cullens was always something to look foreward to, well most of the time anyway. Everyone certainly remembered when James, Victoria and Laurent interrupted that one game, that Bella happened to be present at.
Rosalie went outside and ran through the forest, to the baseball clearing. As she ran, she caught the familiar scent of her brothers. She slowed as she neared the edge of the clearing and walked out to see Edward and Jasper. "Hey guys," she greeted them with a smile as she pulled her hair back into a ponytail and fastened it with a hair tie. Another thunder rumbled loud and it was like music to her ears. Hopefully, this game wouldn't be ended short.

As Jasper sat waiting it wasn't long before he knew he was being joined he felt the excitement of his brother Edward on his was towards the clearing. He smiled at Edward as he approached him. He looked at Edward's baseball outfit which always came out when they were of course going to play baseball, it wasn't long before he could sense someone else from his family coming there way.
Rosalie appeared at the clearing edge and Jasper presented her with a warm smile as she approached where him and Edward were standing. Hello Rosalie how are you? Jasper asked as a rumble of thunder once more made its noise and made Jasper's smile grow as he knew it wouldn't be long before they were able to play their game of baseball. I hope we are all looking forward to this game it's been a while.

Edward heard Rosalie walk towards him where he smiled, there was now three of them yet he hoped that they would get more of the Cullen's soon, he couldn't wait to play it had been for too long and this time Bella and Renesmee could join in without a risk of getting hurt. The male turned round to give the surrounding area a once over but couldn't see anyone getting closer yet with made him frown slightly, Alice was nearly the most excited out of the whole family, she loved to bowl.
He sighed slightly before he spoke to his sister. "Hi Rose" he exclaimed with a smile and was going to ask how the female was but Jasper beat him to it making him grin, he better not be able to read minds know. Edward liked being able to red minds most of the time, him gave him something to do when he was bored yet he would hate someone to read his own thoughts just like he hated it when Aro had took his hand before and read his every thought.
Edward hated the Volturi for what they had done to them and remembered the amount of times that he had wanted to kill Aro for touching Bella and Jane for trying to hurt her yet she had defied them both with that shield of hers. The male smiled and this thought yet retained his eyes on Rose to wait for her response.

A smile lit up Rose's face. It was one of the rare times when she was actually looking forward to something and spending time with the family, something she hadn't done in a while. "I'm good, well better then I have been," she answered. She hadn't realized how much she missed her family until now. Rose has always been closest to Jasper since he and Alice found the Cullens. With all the stress and worrying she'd done lately, she tried staying away from him for a while because she knew it drove him crazy. Even those times when he was the only person she wanted to talk to.
Rose kept the smile on her face, "I'm very much looking forward to this game," she agreed. She looked over to Jasper and hugged him, "Sorry I've been so isolated lately,it's hard for me," she said before releasing her brother from her unexpected embrace. She stood beside him and chewed at her lip, looking at Edward with a slight smile. Just being around her brothers made her want to be a better sister than she'd been in the past few weeks.

Baseball time it came often with the thunderstorms but Alice still did not have much time to get everyone one together. She would usually send out a text message and tell the family to meet up at the field. Most often everyone was in the middle of something that they just could drop but today, Alice could see most of the family was free. Seeing the impending game actually coming threw put Alice in even a more cheerful mood. Going home and grabbing her glove and a ball Alice quickly slipped on her baseball clothes and headed over to the clearing.
It was not surprise to see Jasper Edward and Rose already at the field out of the whole family those three loved the sport as much as she did and Emmett of course but he was still nowhere to be seen. Stopping at the middle of the clearing Alice chucked the baseball towards Edward. "I am so ready to play hopefully a few more members of the family show up soon." Alice then ran over to Jasper and gave him a playful smile before whispering in his ear. "I already know the outcome either way it going to still be fun."

Baseball, the pastime of her family. When there was a thunderstorm anyway. And apparently there was one coming, which meant that Nessie ran back to the cottage. She had gone on a run about half an hour ago but now she just ran harder and ran back home. It would only be a matter of seconds. When she got home she noticed that the cottage was empty. She had no idea where either of her parents were but her first guess would be that they were already on the field.
And so she ran to her room and when to her closet. And honestly her closet was way to big, why she had to keep buying clothes she had no idea. In any case Nessie liked to shop, but not nearly as much as she liked a good competition. A good friendly competition. She found her baseball outfit and quickly changed her clothes. After that she was good to go. And so she went outside and ran to the field.
She came through the threes on to the field. Seeing that allot of her family members were already there. She quickly skipped over the field to join her father. Mentally saying hello to him "Hi daddy" she thought. "hey Aunty Alice, Aunty Rose, Uncle Jasper." She said greeting all of her family members that were there at the moment. Hoping that the others would come soon.

Rose was happy as Alice showed up, soon to be followed by Nessie. She rolled her eyes as she heard Alice, of course her pixie of a sister knew the outcome of the game, she always did. Rosalie smiled, "Hey Nessie," she greeted her neice as she glanced around, hoping she'd see Emmett come soon. Honestly, she wasn't even sure he'd come to this game, considering he was always with Felicity and Lucina lately. Which, of course, bothered her to no end.
Today was going to be a good, family bonding moment and Rose was determined not to ruin it with being bitter at the world, she'd save that feeling so she could lash out at Jacob next time they met. It was good seeing her family together, something she'd been avoiding lately for her own sanity. She kept a smile on her face as she looked at each of them, realizing just how much she truly missed them.

He smiled as he saw Alice gracefully come onto the area as she always did when she made an entrance before catching the ball as it was thrown at him. He then began to grin as he smelled his daughters scent coming closer, Renesmee was coming. Edward then saw his sister come into the area where she mentally said hello to him. He laughed gently before he spoke. "Hi Nessie" he said smiling as she stood next to him.
Edward then turned to Rose and smiled when she released her grip from Jasper, he could tell why she did that, she missed them just as much as Edward missed the lot of them too. He let the ball roll around in his hands before he threw it into the air a couple of times and caught it. The male then turned and ran a little way before turning. "Go long" he yelled to anyone and threw the ball as only a vampire could throw.
He was tired of waiting so throwing the ball for a bit would keep them entertained until they were sure that everyone got there to play. Edward felt like a little kid again, he just wanted to play with the family before the thunder and lightning stopped. He then wondered what they would do if the weather stopped, they would most likely all return home but he didn't want that, not at all. They had only reconnected recently

Jasper was happy to have an embrace with his sister, it wasn't a very common thing and he could sense that she wasn't happy, her situation with Fliss still wasn't getting any better and it was getting to her, Jasper could see and sense it. Alice appeared in front of him not long after Rose let go of him, he was happy to see her and smiled back at her, the warm smile she gave him was lovely.
Hello Alice, hello Nessie. Jasper smiled at Nessie as she soon appeared and greeted the family members that were already there, Alice had thrown the ball to Edward and he wanted to start a game of catch until everyone else got there. Edward throw me the ball. He called to Edward and started racing around the field getting himself ready for the game that was going to happen shortly.
